However, if there’s one area to improve, it's the coffee roast, as some loyal patrons, like Rebecca Miller, have expressed a yearning for their once-beloved brew. Great coffee is a must in a diner setting, and hopefully, Doug's will heed the calls for a return to former glory.
In conclusion, Doug’s Diner is more than just a place to grab a bite; it’s an experience filled with comforting meals, genuine hospitality, and a vibrant community spirit. So whether you're craving a hearty breakfast or a relaxed lunch, Doug’s is definitely worth the visit. “ Absolutely amazing food! I had the sweet toast, and I almost cried at the heavenly taste! ”
“ My basted egg was hard boiled. Still delicious. They are training a cook. Service amazing. Sure can tell everything is homemade! Corned beef and Hollandaise sauce amazing. ”
“ I LOVE DOUG’s so much that I don’t want to give a less than 5 star review, BUUUUUT, please please please go back to the coffee you had for years. It was amazing, and the coffee you have now completely alters the experience of having breakfast there. Good coffee is SO important. Server said it was because of food costs, but you charge 3.75 for drip coffee. It needs to be good. LOVE the remodel! ”
“ The chef made a salad different than what I ordered, but the gm made sure I got the correct salad and they didn't charge me for it first. I took home the extra salad and it was still delicious. They were super helpful and kind when we walked in with a handful of kids. The only downside of eating here is that parking in this area is a bit limited. We had to park a block away. Their specials sounded really yummy, even though we didn't order them. ”
“ This time, I went for the carne asada lunch burrito and it really hit the spot! The flavor was great, and it came with tasty sides of beans and hash browns. They definitely don't skimp on portions – you get fantastic value for your money. On top of that, the service was super friendly and attentive. It looks like they've also recently spruced up the inside with fresh paint and some cool Colorado-themed items and history. ”
“ We had breakfast, the food was amazing and the portions are huge. Very friendly staff, can definitely recommend to come here! ”
“ We went out for breakfast this morning and it was hands down one of the best meals we have had while dining out. The rates are very reasonable and the drink specials are out of this world. We will definitely come back in the near future and can’t wait to eat more delicious meals here. Angel, our server, was kind and attentive as well. Thank you! ”
“ We had a great breakfast, no issues. Our server Madison was attentive yet not overly attentive, that is how we like it, a nice quiet unrushed experience. Thanks Madison! We have eaten at all four of the Doug's in NOCO and the Greeley location is our favorite. ”
